Wedding planning is not easy, especially if you've never planned a wedding from start to finish. Wedding planners plan multiple weddings simultaneously which takes a lot of organization to keep track of many, many details. As the lead planner and owner of Dulce Events (and former educator), I wanted to create a visual that explains our unique process to our clients. I want our clients to understand the stages of wedding planning and how we work. Our goal is to make this a seamless process, from start to finish.
Our 5-step Method
1. Vision and Ideas
First, we'll talk about your ideas for your wedding: the setting (outdoor/indoor), the style (formal/informal), the size of your wedding (intimate/large), and the overall vision of what you want your wedding day to be like. Next, we'll get your planning portal set up and give you a behind-the-scenes look and access to all the tools we'll be using to organize your wedding.
2. Vendor Team Building
We'll help you create a team of vendors that fits your wedding. Caterers, bakers, photographers, florists, entertainment, rentals and the venue itself... there are a lot of wonderful businesses out there! So how do you choose? We'll help you narrow it down based on your wedding style and our experience working with local wedding vendors in Tallahassee, Thomasville, or wherever your wedding is taking place.
3. Design and Details
This is the fun part! Your planner will help you with selections of linens, flowers, signage, and all the details that will make your wedding unique. No cookie-cutter weddings here! We want your wedding to be different from all the others and a fun experience for your guests.
Your planner will prepare your wedding day timeline and confirm the details with all your vendors. We'll do all the back-end work before the wedding so you won't have to.
5. Wedding Day Management
Two on-site coordinators and a setup team will manage your wedding day from start to finish.
We'll handle the setup, help vendors find their places, make sure everything is ready for your guests, and get everyone down the aisle on time.
Full disclosure: There is actually a 6th step, and that involves our post-wedding duties. You may have a brunch the next day. Maybe coordination of rentals to be returned... Those are some things that your planner can help handle. We'll even remind you about filing your marriage certificate within the allotted time frame and make sure your dress gets cleaned properly.
