Hope and Chandler were married in March at the beautiful Goodwood Museum and Gardens. The location is a favorite among Tallahassee locals as a wedding venue. Its 180-year history provided a stunning background for Hope and Chandler's outdoor ceremony. The giant oaks created a beautiful canopy over the ceremony, which started just a couple of hours before sunset. Planner's tip: When choosing a ceremony location, think about where the sun will be at ceremony time. If you can, visit the ceremony sight at that time of day before the wedding and take some pictures. Allow the trees to frame your photos, and not necessarily be the focal point. Check for noise (traffic, flight patterns...) or anything that may disrupt your ceremony or video. Hope's light, lacy dress was just perfect for a garden wedding. A lace wedding dress with cap sleeves and flowing fabric is just the perfect combination of traditional styling with a modern look. Planner's tip: Choose your dress after you've secured your venue. Matching your dress to the setting will just look and feel right. Hope wanted her bridesmaids to be comfortable and wear a mix of solids and patterns which looked gorgeous with their rose and eucalyptus bouquets. Chandler and the guys wore grey tuxedos with a classic bowtie. A perfect outdoor, daytime suit color that still looks classy and great in photos. The ring bearer and flower girl took their jobs pretty seriously, too! They did everything just right and looked adorable performing their duties! Those suspenders and bowtie make this little guy the cutest ring bearer ever. And how about that little halo on our flower girl? Precious! The bride's grandfather built the cross they were married in front of and a friend of the family created the amazing florals for their wedding. These small details will be a special memory for Hope and Chandler for years to come. Such a sweet ceremony! Not a dry eye in the crowd! And that backlighting from the sun going down, wow! Perfection! The couple held their reception in the carriage house at Goodwood. Great food, family, prayers (more tears), toasts, and lots and lots of dancing! Hope and Chandler ended the night with a tunnel of string lights, criss-crossed and held over their heads by their friends and family. So fun!
